"I don't want to be famous, I just want to make a difference in people's lives."
- Kaylin Jean-Louis
Born one month early at 5lbs 3oz, with her entrance into the world, it was known that her birth was filled with purpose and she'd make a powerful mark in this earth. After her birth, the midwife who delivered her looked at her parents and said, "you all must be some praying people." She held up the umbilical cord and showed them the knot that was in the cord and said, "usually, when we see this type of thing, the baby doesn't make it because the knot in the cord cuts off the oxygen to the baby. I don't know how she did it, but somehow she got through this." They understood that it was all God. She was indeed, a miracle. From the moment that she began talking until now, Kaylin has always had something to say. Today, she's using her voice to inspire and motivate others (especially youth) to care; to be kind; to love; to have compassion; to dream, and to be best the best version of themselves that they can be.
