Every year, Kaylin's Caring Konnection, Inc. does a "12 Days of Caring" Holiday Drive, in our efforts to raise funds to give back to those in our community. My focus has always been geared towards children and youth, in ensuring I can bring smiles to their faces (and hearts) during Christmas by simply showing, "Kaylin Cares."

In February of 2020, I started the KCK Youth Care Too! Movement to acknowledge, celebrate, honor, and advocate for youth ages 8-18 who are serving as Youth Caregivers to their parents, siblings, and loved ones. In continuing my mission with the Youth Care Too! Movement, this year, in partnership with The Ruth Project Girls, we will be hosting a Christmas Celebration Special Event for Love Heals Support Group. The Group is a Trauma Healing Support Group for Teenage Girls Who Have Experienced Grief, Loss, Abuse and Other Trauma. The purpose of the event is to show Love for the Girls and their special guests during this time of year.

The Christmas Celebration Special Event will be held on Saturday, December 10, at 6 pm. During the drive, we will be collecting items for the gift bags that will be given to every girl who attends the celebration. Below is a list of the items being collected:

• Gift Cards (suggested Visa, Walmart, Target, Nail Salons)

• Lip gloss

• Makeup wipes

• Scented candles

• Body sprays

• Facial/foot scrubs

• Manicure sets

• Makeup 

• Makeup brushes and/or sponges 

• Cozy socks

• Candy/Gum

• Hand sanitizer/holders
