"A CONVERSATION WITH MRS. PAULA DEBOLES-JOHNSON" (5/22/2022)
If you have been keeping up with my podcast, you know that I have been discussing some important topics and issues in our world that need to be solved. This week, I'll be focusing on issues going on right here in my community, Tallahassee, Florida. Specifically, there has been an increase in gang violence, suicide, homelessness, and racism, to name a few. As a teenager, it is very disheartening to know that a lot of these issues are negatively affecting my fellow peers and my community. And while some have spoken up about these issues, it is evident that we need to find some solutions to help eradicate them and bring about real change. On this week's episode, I have the esteemed honor of having a conversation with Mrs. Paula DeBoles-Johnson, Candidate for Leon County Commission, District 5, to discuss these issues and some of her solutions to fix them, as one who is running for an office here in Leon County. TUNE IN TONIGHT AND JOIN THE CONVERSATION!

"IT'S 2022...WHEN WILL HISTORY STOP REPEATING ITSELF?" (3/27/2022)
Now, if you have been paying attention to the news, you can see that there is a lot going on in the world. But one of the hot topics this week is Mrs. Kentaji Brown Jackson and her nomination to become the first woman of color Associate Justice to serve in the U.S. Supreme Court. Currently, they are commencing confirmation hearings to gather information about her, but it seems to have turned into them asking meritless questions that go beyond the subject matter. To many, this is not surprising whatsoever because it seems that women, especially African-American women, have to work twice as hard to get anywhere in life. After several historic events, you would think women would have done enough to finally be treated as equals to their male counterparts. However, it’s 2022 and we are still seeing the same problems go on. So today, I want to focus on this subject: “It’s 2022…When Will History Stop Repeating Itself?”
"STAND UP, SPEAK UP, AND BE THE CHANGE" (3/13/2022)
As you may know, it is officially Women’s History Month! This national month provides us the opportunity to reflect on the time, physical labor, and emotional labor women have historically contributed to advance opportunities for people of all genders. We also get to celebrate how these advancements have paved the way for and provided an example to young women everywhere! Not only does it inspire young women but it inspires change-makers around the world who want to use their voice to make a difference. In honor of celebrating, I wanted to spend this show educating you all about some amazing women in history and in our community that has changed the narrative of what women were told to be. I also want you to know that you can be just like these amazing women and make a difference right where you are. So today, my topic of discussion is “Stand Up, Speak Up, and Be The Change” #InspiringMomentswithKaylinRadioShow #KaylinsCaringKonnectionInc #KaylinInspires #KaylinCares #PowerTeen #YouthandCovid #radio #radiohost #futuremedialeader
S2, EP3: PAY ATTENTION TO THE SIGNS (11/28/2021)
Our world is constantly evolving, and people are always changing. As we mature, we watch friends, relationships, and hobbies come and go. Sometimes we are unaware of the reasons why they leave specific chapters of our lives. But most times, we stay in these things for the wrong reasons. We neglect to pay attention to the negative energy and focus that people or things bring us simply because we enjoy their company. However, when they decide to leave our story, we become broken into shambles. Today, I want to introduce some warning signs to watch out for as you grow up and how to deal with them. So my topic for this episode is "Pay Attention to the Signs."
S2, Ep1, KCK INSPIRING MOMENTS WITH KAYLIN: BACK TO SCHOOL TABLE TALK (8/8/2021)
Wow, what a school year we had last year! It was a long year filled with hybrid learning, the incorporation of social distancing, and masks in schools, among other things. It was a very unique school year. With the outbreak of Covid-19, we were challenged to find ways to safely have fun and make the best of our “different” school year. This week, we are officially returning to in-person learning across the State of Florida while still having to abide by some of the same rules. Not to mention, the increase in COVID-19 cases here in the state of Florida. With so many different views on safely returning to school, I thought it would be interesting to have a table talk discussion with some admirable people, which includes: a student, a parent, teachers, and a school administrator, to hear their different perspectives. Tune in TONIGHT at 7:21 pm, and join us for this discussion.
YOUTH CAREGIVER ADVOCACY: OUR CARE MATTERS TOO! (5/16/2021)
Nationwide, there are millions of youth caregivers between the ages of 8 to 18. As one of the millions, I have made it my business to advocate and bring awareness to the growing number of youth who are caring for sick and/or disabled loved ones. A few months ago, I started the Youth Care Too! Movement, a movement that was birthed out of my own experience with being a secondary caregiver for my grandmother and great-grandmother. My goal is to raise awareness for caregiving youth everywhere. We want them to know that we see them and while they care for others, we care for them. In this episode, I introduce you to another Youth Caregiver and advocate, Charlie Poole. Tune in and hear Charlie's story and find out what he, too, is doing to advocate for Youth Caregivers. #OurCareMattersToo
