Tallahassee Walk to End Alzheimer's Youth Care Too! Movement Campaign | November 20, 2021
THE YOUTH CARE TOO MOVEMENT JOINED FORCES WITH THE ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION AND WALKED TO #ENDALZ.
The Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support, and research. It's also very personal to me as I get to see (and experience) its effect on my family every single day. My mom is the primary caregiver for my 79-year-old grandmother and my 98-year-old great-grandmother, both of whom live with us and are living with Alzheimer's. I help my mom to care for them and I know the joys and challenges that come along with caring for someone with Alzheimer's. That's why I started my own team with a mission to recruit other youth and to bring greater awareness to others regarding this disease. My goal was also to give $1000 to the Alzheimer's Association, and I'm happy to say that together with the help of my partners and supporters, I reached my financial goal. Take a look at the video below.
Alzheimer's doesn't stop and neither do we! This is an ongoing effort. If you would like to give towards our 2022 Team goal, click here.
